Epiar is seeking a business development executive who will be directly responsible for selling to new and existing clients. This individual will be an experienced salesperson; we are looking for an energetic self-starter who is proactive in driving revenue, increasing the client base, and selling for Epiar and Top Draw (www.topdraw.com). You must be results-driven and committed to creating new business opportunities in a dynamic marketplace, with experience selling within the technology, marketing, advertising, and search industries a plus.

Search Marketing Analyst //
Epiar is seeking a highly skilled analyst with prior experience in web development and marketing to provide assistance and support to the account management team on select client accounts. Our clients are among the most progressive, innovative, and entrepreneurial; knowing and targeting their Internet market is strategic to their business and fundamental to ours.
Responsibilities //
You will be accountable for day-to-day search engine marketing (SEM) activities using Epiar tools and resources. This will include the implementation and administration of the recommendations proposed by account managers for their clients' search marketing campaigns.
Job responsibilities include:
- Conducting market studies, keyword research, and search query analysis. This will involve downloading reports from the Internet and creating reports with the downloaded data.
- Campaigning for inbound links for clients' sites through email requests, directory submissions, and affiliate marketing.
- Auditing web site architecture to ensure proper construction for maximum search engine visibility.
- Writing page titles and META tags, as well as website design and architectural recommendations for search engine optimization.
- Training on Epiar software and processes and industry best practices. Education and learning are initial and ongoing processes at Epiar.
- Maintaining expertise on search engine news and trends, including learning and using new tools and services as they become available.
Requirements //
- Bachelor's degree or diploma, preferably in Information Sciences or Commerce. Equivalencies in education and experience will be considered.
- A solid understanding of marketing and business communications.
- An understanding of Internet technologies, including dynamic web site design, development and construction, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Proficient in the use of Word, Excel, Outlook, and various Internet browsers. Self-directed when faced with support issues. Knowledge and experience with Access and macros strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage details, efficient work habits, and flexibility. Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Must be able to prioritize tasks in an open office environment including the ability to accept interruptions as part of the routine.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Beneficial Skills //
- Knowledge of current search engine optimization techniques for Google, Yahoo, MSN, and other search engines.
- Internet technology skills including web analytics, log file and traffic analysis, and inbound link building.
- Knowledge of various programming languages including PHP, Perl, ColdFusion, and ASP.
- Basic understanding of the mechanics of how search engines work.
- Familiarity and/or experience with blogs, social networking web sites, Web 2.0, and social media optimization (SMO).
- Familiarity and/or experience with standard SEO/SEM research and reporting tools.
- Familiarity and/or experience with market research, project management, and business analysis.
