Epiar Inc., The Most Progressive SEO/SEM Firm
Edmonton, AB – Epiar Inc. (www.epiar.com), Canada’s premiere SEO/SEM firm, is pleased to announce that they have received Scientific Research & Experimental Development (SR&ED) credits for the 5th consecutive year.
Epiar Inc. reviews their clients search from top to bottom, by first qualifying their search terms. Believing in quality research to enhance a website’s overall visibility online, Epiar Inc. developed a technology and integrated analytic platform that could be used by their experts to categorize the intent and relevance of online searches-ultimately maximizing the performance of the website for a particular target audience.
“Far too often companies are optimizing phrases that consumers are not searching them out for,” said Ken Jurina, President of Epiar Inc. “The techniques we employ ensure that our clients are ranking where they need to be, to provide the ROI they should see from their SEO initiatives.”
In developing this technology and platform, Epiar Inc. (www.epiar.com) sought to anticipate and incorporate the emerging information management principles that will specify how information is categorized, organized, and accessed on the Web, instead of simply reacting to the search engine
algorithms of the day.
“The SR&ED credits show that we are on the right path to growing the business of SEO/SEM,” continued Mr. Jurina. “We look forward to continuing towards our goal of innovation at every turn.” Founded in 2002, Epiar is a professional SEO/SEM firm offering ethical search engine optimization services to companies that increases their leads, sales, and brand visibility online. Epiar won the 2007 Edmonton Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Owner of the Year award, and was placed on Alberta Venture’s list of The Fast 50-Alberta’s Fast-Growth Champions.

Epiar had proudly posted banners at the event boasting the results we have been getting our PPC clients who are implementing the new Epiar Negative Keyword Lists that max out at 10,000 terms! Feel free to give us a call if you would like to know more. Martin Byrne & his fellow Yahoo’er are posing as bartenders, but they’re secretly just drinking everything behind the bar. Ken is sandwiched between two well-dressed attendees. Ian and Alex from Yahoo! are drinking stylishly together. Those bevies were getting through to everyone – you would’ve been hard pressed to find a tired eye in the crowd! Ian joins in on the sugar-rimmed cocktails with Dustin Bateyko and Lucia. Ken joins Yahoo’ers Alex and Martin on stage to get the formalities out of the way before the evening’s fun began. These cheery Yahoo’ers are posing happily for the camera or are just overjoyed with their layers of leis. This is really just a camera trick. The shirtless fighter is the only one standing up; everyone in the background is actually hanging upside down! That’s Andrew Goodman, Founder of Page Zero Media. I don’t see any drinks in this picture. Something must be wrong. Party pose! Laura joins in with Chris Winfield (10e20), Matt McGowan (Incisive Media) and Todd Malicoat (Stuntdubl). Finally getting a chance to strike that pose she practiced dozens of times in grade school. The ever popular flirtatious over the shoulder glance makes its appearance on the catwalk. Isn’t that cute? They must be BFF. The dancers really added some punch to the evening’s festivities. I’m not sure how much many more accessories Alex can put on before her knees buckle under the weight. I’m forever blowing bubbles, pretty bubbles in the air… Ian from Epiar sneaks himself in between two lovely party go’ers. |

Curtis Dueck and Ken Jurina talk about their new negative keyword list tool for PPC and organic search campaigns with John Mulligan of SEO-PR. Many people already use negative keywords in their PPC campaigns, and are familiar with the benefits that come from constructing a list of negative keywords. The negative keyword list tool extends that principle so that instead of having 10 or a few hundred negative keywords, the software maxes out the potential of negative keywords by algorithmically and with user assistance generating thousands of negative keywords at a time.
